| Description |
| Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service is an extension of the university in South Carolina run by Dr. Deborah Thomason. The goal of this organization is to strengthen families locally. This is done with a curriculum available to the public (especially schools) called Building Family Strengths. The ten Family Strengths are individually and collectively important and interrelated. The following are the strengths concentrated on in the course: Communication, Contentment, History, Humor, Resiliency, Self-esteem, Unity, Values, Optimism and Spirituality.
Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service is putting knowledge to work to strengthen South Carolina families. Programs and activities are designed to recognize the uniqueness and diversity of families.
