The Center for the Family at Pepperdine University (Malibu, California) was in 1996 through the inspiration and foundation of M. Norvel and Helen Young. The founding director is Dennis Lowe. This is a local organization designed to unite the church and the community in strengthening healthy relationships. They offer a multitude of resources and speakers in various churches around California.
The Center offers a supportive strength to help empower families, it provides sensible seminars for marriage enrichment and parenting, as well as trainings for churches, professionals, and lay leaders who reach wider audiences in their communities.
